“...and a happy new year!”  I wish you and your family the most joyous of holiday seasons. 

I’ve headed off on the afternoon ferry, headed to Logan Airport to collect my daughter. Together, she, Tom and I will travel to Norfolk, CT for a week with family and friends as we celebrate Christmas. Slowing the pace and enjoying a quiet week off-island will be wonderful.

The autumn months at The New School have been filled with memorable moments and essential learning. I have appreciated the hard work of the faculty and staff as they tirelessly devote themselves to your children's education. Morning meetings have been a highlight, with varied sharing and content - from sharks to realistic cakes. I’ve appreciated my many conversations with parents, learning from you about your high hopes for your children and your appreciation of the New School traditions. Most of all, I have loved spending the days with New School students - their humor, kindness, and dedication to their learning. I will genuinely miss them while we’re off on break!

Whatever your plans for the next two weeks, I wish you happy days and joyful connections with family and friends.  I look forward to welcoming you back in 2025!
