World Down Syndrome Day
We celebrated World Down Syndrome Day in style! Striped, mismatched, and wacky socks were proudly displayed on every ankle in sight- and we all had a moment to pause and learn more about Down syndrome, so we could all be a part of breaking stereotypes. A special thank you to Priscilla Graham for coming to read My Friend Isabelle by Eliza Woloson.

MSEF Regional and State Fair
7th grade students Alex Snyder and Jack Chibnik will be representing Nantucket New School at the Massachusetts Science & Engineering Regional Fair at St. Regis College tomorrow. Students will provide a 4-7 minute presentation of their STEM-X projects to the judges. Alex studied salinity levels with eel grass, and Jack tested the effectiveness of water filters. We are so proud of their work and can’t wait to hear about their experience!
