There sure was a lot of love in the air at school this week. Students and faculty exchanged Valentine’s cards and I had more sweet treats pawned on me this week than at any time I can remember. I love it!
Valentine’s Day wasn’t the only day to show one’s fondness toward others as we partnered with The Handle Bar Café, the Town, and the Artist Association during international random acts of kindness week (2/12-18) where community members posted “appreciation cards” with messages of appreciation for students, faculty, businesses and the like. Here, Emy Browers used her 100th day project to write about all the people and things she appreciates.
The first grade did a great job with each of their 100th Day projects and entertained us at morning meeting on Friday.
Please remember that Enrollment Contract are due back next Friday, February 24th. We are unable to guarantee placement for returning students after that date as we will be accepting new students starting Monday, February 20th. Kindergarten finished its trip to Greece this week with Olympic Games during P.E. Below, Martha Page does her best impression of Hulk Hogan coming “off the turnbuckle.”
