Flash mob?

Head’s Letter 12/15/2017

Dear NNS Families,

‘Tis the season for a party and we’ve certainly been in the mood for one this week.  It seems that every time I turned around there was the kind of positive energy found at the best of parties.  Every morning as I came in from shaking hands, I felt the positive energy when I looked at the boxes filled with presents for our families in need.  Once again, our community has come together in support of those less fortunate and every item on the lists have been filled.  This is in addition to the $588 our students raised during our “NNS Stroll” that we have used to purchase gift cards at Stop & Shop!

On Thursday, the Lance Mountain Dance Party appeared at morning meeting for a show that was a surprise for many of us.  I thought we were experiencing a flash-mob by the way Lower School rocked the live show.

The Upper School student government sponsored “Wild West” sprit day set the tone for a hoedown.  YEE-HAW!

And….if all of this wasn’t enough, you are welcome to stop by the cookie decorating party after school today.

  • Our Holiday Performance begins at 11am on Wednesday next week and we will have a noon dismissal. If you need to reserve a seat for someone with limited mobility, please let me know.
  • Upper School parents – thank you for reminding your child(ren) of our new cellphone policy that requires phones to remain powered off and in lockers during the school day.

Have a great weekend,
