As a Kindergarten teacher I understand that learning occurs when children are comfortable in their surroundings and are encouraged to succeed. I believe in empowering children with the knowledge and skills to seek information independently in order to become critically thinking problem solvers. While respecting the pace of childhood, I strive to teach the whole child (academically, socially, and emotionally) because teaching children what they ought to know for academic success is only a small portion of my job.
